Ranking All Six April Fool's Posts

 

I didn't have any new ideas this year, so I'm just going to do a ranking list for the other ones. People love rankings and top lists.

#6 -- 2021 (Ranking the Highlander Movie Sex Scenes) - This post is actually good, so I'm ranking it the lowest. That Highlander Endgame sex scene is amazing, especially the music. It and Highlander 3 are both better than people remember.

#5 -- 2025 (Top Ten Games/Movies/Shows I Wish Would Have Lasted Longer) - Just a terrible list, even if the idea is to be terrible. Midway through I give up and do a totally different list, then give up on that one. A sloppy post that doesn't even stay on-focus as an April Fools gag. And did I seriously say that 150+ hour Elden Ring ended too soon?

#4 -- 2026 (Ranking All Six April Fool's Posts) - Ranking April Fools posts instead of making a new one? How creatively bankrupt are we at this point?

#3 -- 2023 (The Top Ten Phillips CD-I Games) - Pound for pound a contender for the worst post on the site. This is BAD. The list is barebones with no commentary, I didn't finish the list, and I had the horrible top-down Zelda's Adventure at #1. I think I had it mixed up with the significantly less-horrible side-scrolling one where you play as Zelda.

#2 -- 2024 (Ranking the Lord of the Rings Vol. 1 Fellowship From Best To Worst) - The best April Fools post in every category that makes April Fools posts what they are. The joke is that all of the characters are terrible.

#1 -- 2022 (Nothing at all) - I did nothing at all for April Fools that year. It was the greatest April Fools post.
